Sally Beck, PhD/LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed guidance counselor specializing in children, individual, couples and family therapy including trauma due to sexual/physical abuse. She specializes in marriage counseling, EMDR, and children's issues.
Dr. Beck has an intensive program in which couples meet two hours a week developing a communication style that works! Through "respect living" couples can have the marriage they deserve.
She is trained in EMDR, a specialized technique to lessen anxiety due to trauma. EMDR is effective in reducing anxiety in both adults and children. It is also a way to address PTSD due to trauma and has been found especially helpful in lessening the trauam experienced by our returning military.
Dr. Beck also works with children who suffer from trauma due to divorce or abuse. She specializes in play therapy, and has a large play therapy room for her younger clients.
In addition, Dr. Sally Beck has presented at conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of abuse and childhood trauma including sexual abuse, depression, and self-harm behaviors.
